On January 12, 2018, Mariner Finance Branch Manager, Melvenia Greene, delivered a $1,500 donation to the Lowcountry Food Bank to help the food insecure in the Lowcountry Region of South Carolina.
In 2017, Lowcountry Food Bank distributed over 28 million pounds of food among their 300 partner agencies serving 200,000 people. 97% of charitable dollars were spent on programs and services provided by the food bank and over 43,000 volunteer hours aided in the success of this program.
